These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, web application, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Truloco ("Truloco," "we," "us," or "our"). The Service allows homeowners ("you" or "User") to request quotes and information for home improvement, maintenance, and repair services — including, without limitation, painting, pool repair and maintenance, construction, window replacement, concrete work, and water filtration (each a "Home Service," collectively "Home Services") — and connects Users with independent third-party contractors, dealers, and service companies ("Service Providers") who may perform such Home Services.

BY ACCESSING OR USING THE SERVICE, CHECKING A BOX INDICATING YOUR AGREEMENT, OR OTHERWISE SUBMITTING INFORMATION THROUGH THE SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND OUR PRIVACY POLICY, WHICH IS INCORPORATED HEREIN BY REFERENCE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE SERVICE.

1. Description of the Service

Truloco operates an online marketplace and lead-generation platform. We are not a contractor, dealer, or provider of any Home Service. We do not perform, supervise, warrant, or guarantee any Home Service. Our role is limited to (a) collecting information from Users about their home and desired Home Service(s), (b) generating estimated pricing information, and (c) connecting Users with, and sharing User information with, one or more Service Providers who may contact the User to provide an actual quote and/or perform the requested Home Service.

Truloco may add, modify, or discontinue any Home Service category, feature, or tool at any time without notice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, a resident of the United States, and have the legal authority to request Home Services for the property you submit (as an owner, tenant with authorization, or authorized agent) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Quotes and Pricing Are Estimates Only

Any pricing, price range, itemized breakdown, or estimate presented to you through the Service (a "Quote") is an estimate only and is not a guaranteed, binding, or final price. Quotes are generated using information you provide, publicly available data, third-party data sources, and/or automated and AI-assisted estimation tools, and are subject to change based on factors including, without limitation: an in-person inspection or assessment of your property, material and labor availability and cost, site conditions, permit requirements, the independent pricing and business practices of the applicable Service Provider, and the accuracy of the information you submitted. Final pricing and terms for any Home Service are determined solely between you and the Service Provider you engage. Truloco is not a party to, and assumes no responsibility for, any agreement, transaction, or dispute between you and a Service Provider.

4. Submission of Information; Consent to Be Contacted and to Sale/Sharing of Information

When you request a Quote, you will be asked to submit information about yourself and your property, which may include your name, email address, phone number, home address, and details about the Home Service you are interested in ("Submitted Information"). By submitting this information and agreeing to these Terms, you:

(a) authorize Truloco to share, disclose, and sell your Submitted Information (and related information described in our Privacy Policy) to one or more Service Providers for the purpose of providing you a Quote, contacting you, and/or performing a Home Service;

(b) consent to being contacted by Truloco and/or matched Service Providers by phone (including by call or text, which may use automated dialing or messaging technology), email, or mail, even if your number is on a state or federal do-not-call registry; and

(c) acknowledge that once your information is shared with a Service Provider, that Service Provider's own use of your information is governed by its own privacy practices, and not by this Privacy Policy.

5. Third-Party Tools, Data Sources, and AI Tools

Depending on the Home Service and features involved, Truloco may use, integrate, or rely on third-party tools, application programming interfaces (APIs), imagery and mapping services, public and licensed data sources, data enrichment/append vendors, and artificial intelligence or machine learning tools ("Third-Party Tools") to operate the Service — for example, to generate a visual preview of your property, estimate pricing, verify property characteristics, or assess service eligibility.

Your use of features built on Third-Party Tools is subject to the applicable third party's own terms of service, and Truloco will use commercially reasonable efforts to comply with those terms. By way of example only: where the Service displays imagery sourced from a third-party mapping or street-level imagery provider, that imagery is shown to you solely for preview purposes within your active web session, and, consistent with the applicable provider's terms, is not sold, permanently cached, stored beyond what is necessary to operate the session, or used to create derivative works except as expressly permitted by that provider. Different Home Service categories may involve different Third-Party Tools and different applicable third-party restrictions, and Truloco reserves the right to change the Third-Party Tools it uses at any time.

6. No Employment, Agency, or Partnership with Service Providers

Service Providers are independent third parties. They are not employees, agents, representatives, or partners of Truloco, and Truloco does not control, direct, supervise, or warrant their work, licensing, insurance, pricing, or conduct. TRULOCO DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY ARISING FROM ANY HOME SERVICE PERFORMED, OR NOT PERFORMED, BY ANY SERVICE PROVIDER, INCLUDING THE QUALITY, SAFETY, LEGALITY, OR TIMELINESS OF SUCH SERVICE.

7. Accuracy of Information; User Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself and your property. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit, and Truloco is not responsible for Quotes or matches that are inaccurate due to incomplete or incorrect information you provided. You agree not to submit information about a property you do not own or are not authorized to request services for.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to submit false information; (b) impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with a property; (c) interfere with or disrupt the Service or attempt to access it using automated means (e.g., bots, scrapers) without our consent; (d) attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or extract underlying data, imagery, or estimation methods made available through the Service in violation of applicable third-party terms; or (e) use the Service to harass, spam, or solicit Service Providers or other users outside the intended purpose of the Service.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, software, and underlying technology (excluding Third-Party Tools and content owned by their respective providers), is owned by Truloco or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use in requesting Home Service Quotes.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE, AND ALL QUOTES, ESTIMATES, PREVIEWS, AND INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH IT, ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY. TRULOCO DOES NOT WARRANT THAT QUOTES WILL BE ACCURATE, THAT SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL CONTACT YOU, OR THAT ANY HOME SERVICE WILL BE PERFORMED TO YOUR SATISFACTION.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRULOCO AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY HOME SERVICE PERFORMED BY A SERVICE PROVIDER, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. TRULOCO'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Truloco and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your submission of inaccurate or unauthorized information.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above, and, where required by law, we will provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including if we believe you have violated these Terms.

16. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Truloco regarding the Service.

This Privacy Policy explains how Truloco ("Truloco," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, sells, and protects information when you use our website and web application (the "Service"), which helps homeowners request quotes for home improvement, maintenance, and repair services — such as painting, pool repair and maintenance, construction, window replacement, concrete work, and water filtration — and connects them with independent third-party service providers ("Service Providers").

This Policy is written with California residents' rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, "CCPA"), in mind, but applies to all Users of the Service unless otherwise noted.

1. Information We Collect

a. Information You Provide Directly. When you request a Quote or otherwise use the Service, we collect information such as: your name, email address, phone number, home/property address, and details about the Home Service(s) you are interested in (e.g., service type, project scope, preferences, photos you upload).

b. Information Collected Automatically. When you visit or use the Service, we automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and interactions with the Service, using cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5).

c. Appended and Enriched Information. After you submit information to us, we may append, enhance, or supplement it using data obtained from third-party data providers, marketing data vendors, and publicly available sources (for example, property records, tax assessor data, demographic data, or estimated home characteristics). This appended data is combined with the information you provided and treated as part of your personal information under this Policy.

d. Information from Third-Party Tools. Depending on the Home Service, we may use third-party imagery, mapping, property-data, and AI-based analysis tools to generate previews or estimates related to your property (see Section 6).

For purposes of California law, the categories of personal information described above may include identifiers (name, email, phone, address), commercial information (service interests, quote/pricing history), internet or network activity information, geolocation-related information (property address), and inferences drawn from the above (e.g., estimated project pricing).

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal information such as Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, precise geolocation of your device, or health information, and we ask that you not submit such information through the Service.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to: generate and present Quotes and estimated pricing; match you with, and share your information with, Service Provider(s) able to perform your requested Home Service; operate, maintain, and improve the Service, including through automated and AI-assisted estimation tools; communicate with you about your request; conduct analytics and marketing for our own services; detect and prevent fraud or misuse; and comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share and Sell Information

a. Sale/Sharing with Service Providers. This is a core function of the Service: when you request a Quote, we share and sell your personal information — including your name, contact information, property address, and service interest — to one or more Service Providers so that they may contact you, provide a competing or final quote, and/or perform the requested Home Service. By submitting a request through the Service, you direct us to disclose your information to matched Service Providers for this purpose.

b. Service Providers to Truloco (Vendors). We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, data enrichment/append vendors, analytics providers, communications platforms, and customer support tools, under contracts that restrict their use of the information to providing services to us.

c. Third-Party Tool Providers. We may share limited information (such as a property address) with third-party mapping, imagery, or property-data providers solely to generate previews or estimates for you, subject to those providers' own terms and privacy practices.

d. Legal and Business Transfers. We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to legal process, protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

e. Aggregated/De-identified Data. We may share aggregated or de-identified data that does not identify you.

We do not sell or share the personal information of individuals we know to be under 16 years of age.

4. Third-Party Tools, Data Sources, and AI Disclosure

Truloco's Service is built to support multiple Home Service categories, and the specific third-party tools, data sources, and AI-based tools we use may vary by category and may change over time. Where we use such tools — for example, to display a preview image of your property, estimate pricing, or verify property details — we do so subject to the applicable third party's terms of use. For example, imagery obtained from a third-party mapping or street-level imagery service is displayed for preview purposes within your session and is handled in accordance with that provider's restrictions (which may include limits on caching, storage, resale, or creation of derivative works). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third-party providers once information is shared with them in accordance with this Policy; we encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our vendors use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember preferences, and analyze usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Service. To the extent required by law, we will provide a mechanism for you to opt out of the sale/sharing of your information via cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes (e.g., a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link).

6. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to, subject to certain exceptions:

Know/Access — request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, and sold/shared about you, and the categories of sources and recipients.

Delete — request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.

Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.

Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing — direct us not to sell or share your personal information, including the sharing of your information with Service Providers as described in Section 3(a). Please note that opting out of this sharing may mean we are unable to connect you with Service Providers or provide you a Quote, since sharing your information with Service Providers is a core part of the Service.

Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — to the extent we process sensitive personal information (see Section 1).

Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights under the CCPA.

Designate an Authorized Agent — you may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf, subject to verification.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide Quotes, facilitate Service Provider matches, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at legal@truloco.com so we can delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above, and, where required by law, we will provide additional notice.
